That picture was from the set of pictures sent few month ago for a website but was not added. So I guess that I can share it to you without break the signed confidential rules.

I hope that this small picture will help you to wait :)

Looks great. :)

but does it mean that my Linux PC will not be able to run it? ;). Rhetorical question by the way :)

Awesome picture :)

But if it was taken already months ago, this is not a sign that progress is going on currently ;)

I know, I've not been on the forum for awhile (twin 1year girls, F-Sim project <Blank> and a very busy work schedule)

I'm on FSIM too :) and I'm afraid that SSMS2 will not be compatible for Linux and for Mac OS. Maybe with emulators ?

NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Luckily I upgraded a year ago. I still use my Linux box, but one day it will go to the great server in the cloud :)

so are you guys then just sticking with the OV-105 overhead panel?  Or will there be changes to the appropriate parts when flying the other Shuttles?

Cras

also not sure why you guys have the forum automatically edit the word I typed so it says shuttle....  it is not OV, not SV after all....

It's going to be worth the wait.  Like a fine wine :)
In the meantime, I finally found the thread that had the Shuttle Skin Mods, so going to go back and launch a few missions from my childhood ships :)

Thank you very much. I appreciate very much this kind of surprises.  :)
I would like to express my full support for the dev of this simulator.

I'm glad that the instrument panels have some dimension to them now. hopefully we can click the switches from 3-d flight deck view as well as adjust the lighting of the panels-much easier on night landings.

According to the preview videos that were released, the VC will be fully functional.

well, fully 3d maybe.  Funcitonal, while I would LOVE that, I doubt.

But, it looks great, can't wait, I am flying STS-99 right now on another run through the flights.  Flying the Shuttle never gets old.

The interior of the Space Station is the great upgrade that us outsiders on the Forum have been waiting to see now for about sixteen months, which is when the last Alpha is known to have been released (featuring the VC).  The team has been working a very important, time consuming and mind blowing new feature ever since.  But officially we have no clue of what it is.
