Check this out - Just heard from uri_ba in New York and it sounds like he's having a great time.

Tomorrow morning, I will be driving to O'hare Intl. Here in Chicago to PICK HIM UP!!   He will be staying with me, at my home over the weekend on his midwest leg of his tour of my fine country. Before he heads to Florida for the launch, I plan to show him "how we do it here in Chi-town."  

I joked with uri some months ago that if he ever found himself in America that he'd have to come to Chicago so we could meet. Welp, thats gonna happen and I have the SSM2007 forum to thank. There is so many of you that I have communicated with in the almost three years(?) I've been a part of this, and I often wish we could all get together for like a convention or something along those lines. To put the faces behind the post would be great, Wouldn't it? I know that's unrealistic But those thoughts will be with me as I go get our man uri_ba tomorrow.

Was SSM2007 at a space/NASA conference a while back. Maybe this would be the ideal opportunity when SSM2010 is released to organise a release party / SSM Fans conference

That's a really good idea Uri -- try and put something together while you're here -- I will try and attend but unfortunately, I've been moved back to Network Ops and I haven't had a day off in 2 weeks+ ... but I'll try

Again, I live in East Orlando and KSC is only 35 miles away (as the crow flies)...
