From what I heard the Dev team has a good reason ;) they wait for the right timing.
All in due time.

No, we don't know yet but probably the same price as SSMS2007 or really close of it.

We can't speak about the specs yet because the simulator is not completed, please stay tuned for an official announcement.

Well, it's all depending on where along the line the development is.
During initial development, you can never know what's going on.
take 3d clickable cockpit for example, Admin has stated in the past that it's on the menu. there are over 3000 clickable points spread around the shuttle pit. how much CPU overhead would be the detection system? or the added graphics, how much impact would that have on the Graphic card.

I can assure you, knowing how the dev team think, this would not be FSX type resource hog. it will run on normal current PC. (dual core something with a basic graphic card - I'm not sure what with onboard stuff) - If you would be able to run the thing on "Ultra-high" on this type of rig, only time would tell.

i my self am starting to think this new simulator is a myth :-\

IF December passes and the sim still hasn't been released and the dev's are still keeping us in the dark, THEN I might start thinking the sim is a myth.

Yeesh, some people have the patience of a fish ;)

Vinny,

If you cant tell... I'm pretty relaxed waiting for the release and im hardly "talking negative" about SSMS2... Something lost in translation maybe. Just saying IF december 2012 passes with no news/release date then I MAY think something is up, but since thats still months away I'm more than happy waiting.

Thanks for checking tho ;)

Hi, Jeff B!

The new major feature what the developers are working on right now is a surprise, and I think you'll find out in a few weeks before the SSMS 2 goes into beta. The new features what the new SSMS 2 have right now is listed in the announcement board of this forum.
