New free Mission Pack 5.20 has been released!
« on: March 22, 2010, 01:55:48 AM »
We have released today the new, free Mission Pack v5.20 for the Space Shuttle Mission 2007 simulator and a new, updated manuals set.

The new Mission Pack contains:

  • The latest NASA Space Shuttle Mission -STS-130 - which has just returned after installing the final modules on the ISS.
  • The OBSS camera video link to enable the crew to visually examine the thermal shield tiles
  • The Cupola crew station (when docked to the ISS and after the Cupola has been installed) – enjoy the breathtaking views of Earth from the best place inside the ISS.

STS-130 was carried out by Endeavour on February 8, 2010. The first launch attempt was scrubbed due to weather concerns. This 13-days mission delivered and assembled Node 3, also known as Tranquility, which provides additional room for crew members and many of the ISS life support and environmental control systems.

Attached to Node 3 is Cupola - the last American ISS module. Cupola is a Robotic Control Station with six windows around its sides, and another in the 'ceiling' that will also provide dramatic views of Earth and visiting spacecraft.

Have fun in space.
