Great addition, although I'm not sure about the call that docking was a little rough :D :D Time to go back to ground school.

Read the Docking chapter in the Commander's Ref. Man. It hints to the proper approach speed <g>

As a rule of thumb, the approach speed (in the sim) should be @1% of the distance in feet. For example, between 100' and 90', the speed should be below 1fps. Between 50' and 40' it should be below 0.5fps and so on. The recommended final approach speed during the last 1' should be 0.01fps.

Overall, the approach velocities we check for in the sim are higher than in real life simply because we don't want to force anybody to spend so much time on this maneuver, but if you want to be closer to reality, why don't you do the approach at 0.1 - 0.01 fps from 100' down to docking :)

My routine docking speeds start at 0.1fps between 100' and 30' and then 0.01fps until contact. That's roughly 1 hour!

Well I got my new Key today with for SSM on my flash drive. After SSM's weekend emailing and even their lightining fast emailing today. 10 min responce for my new key! Great job SSM you are doing fantastic work.

Back to the FP. I honestly didn't think the extra Mon would be a big thing more like a would be nice to have but I must say I am actually quite impressed after getting a look at it. Great job SSM I look forward to doing a docking and some RMS work today  ;D
