Interesting SRB cam vid
« on: July 04, 2008, 05:45:43 AM »
Came across this on youtube. STS-124s SRB cam looking forward. Interesting to see what happens to the SRB after it leaves the shuttle and returns to Earth.

WOW!

That one will make you dizzy on the ride down.  Very interesting experience.

Thanks,
Peter

And this one is the most amazing one because it is with sound. You can hear the air flow getting quieter while ascending and louder later on after separation while descending. And the parachute opening as well as the splash down just is amazing too.

Have fun ;D

The interesting element to this launch is Discovery was rolled slightly off course due to one booster losing pressure before the other at the end of first stage. Discovery corrected it by rolling back after sep.
