Mission Specific Checklists
« on: April 18, 2008, 06:30:58 AM »
Hi,

Anyone interested in Mission Specific Checklists?. These mission checklists will continue where the ascent checklist leaves off (COMM 60). Here is an example showing STS 1. Note: As you can see, STS 8 is not complete.

Once you complete the mission specific checklist you would then continue with the Deorbit & Landing checklist (COMM 1000).

It will take some time to complete all of these checklists since I must complete all the missions that SSM2007 has to offer. I will also update the Grapple coordinates as I complete each mission.

If there is an interest in something like this let me know and I'll keep working on it.

Thanks for a "Great Sim"

Oh, yes, I’m interested! I could not live without the already available checklists anymore!  :)

That’s an occasion to say thank you. Our thanks will eternally be with you, Michael!  ;)

But you must think of enjoying the game too  ;)

that will cause you one hell of a work..

since STS-88 (if I remember correctly) when powering up the Boilers (T-00:50:00)
you turn on the OMS and set the OMS actions switches to ARM\PRESS.

I personally believe that you Checklist and an absolute necessity, yet it's only a reference - not a bible.. it helps me know what stage is next - and on Medium Difficulty it's more then enough - because you got the Full checklist on-screen..
furthermore after more the 15 full missions, I remember most of the steps I even know where I can cut stages and do two or three steps on the same time. (usually is the KU-band, Star-tracker, fuel-cell, GPS on launch and KU-Band and Star-tracker on De-orbit)

next up is running all the missions again on Hard, then I'll let you know who important it is to complete the checklist..

I have finished all the missions, but I would like to try them on hard and this kind of checklist would make it that much more fun. I am interested Michael. Thanks for taking the time to help us out. ;D

Michael...
Great job, like the design.
Here is what I found a few days ago, if anyone is interested in "the real things"...

Hi,

Well, 210 views and ten people said they would like to see mission specific checklists. Guess there's not much of a demand for something like this.

Thanks for the input

I would definitely go for those checklists if you still decide to do them.

Michael,

Believe me when I say that there is more interest than what you percieve. Others, like I, didn't think that you where expecting support answers to do the checklists. My appologies to you.
