With the greatest respect to the development team and without trying to incur anyone's wrath here, I think 98% is a little generous!  That implies the product is nearly perfect and could barely be improved upon.  It's a great sim and I thoroughly enjoy it, but I'm sure even the developers would agree that there are things that could be done a bit better - things that would bring the rating down a bit more than just 2%.

On the other hand, 9.8 is appropriate as it is (approximately) the acceleration due to gravity that the shuttle must overcome upon lift-off... ;)

Reviews are ultimately also subjective even with the most professional reviewer.

As you correctly pointed out, there is always room for improvement everywhere. Following that thought, nobody should get a perfect 10 for any application - because it is impossible to satisfy everybody (since everybody is subjective). Then the question is: why decide that 10 is a maximum if it can never be achieved.

This is of course a philosophical question that is beyond the scope of this forum and it does not need an answer. Basically what I'm trying to say is that your 95% is somebody else's 100% and maybe vice versa.

What we're happy tough is that we got a rating above 9 <g>. No need to be greedy.
