New user - service pack required?

I downloaded and installed yesterday 22 March.  The first screen shows Version 1.18.

Do I also need to download the latest service pack or will the update already have been included in the main download?

If you look in the download section you'll find a service pack to take you up to the latest version (1.27a).

And on the Purchase screen there is a button saying: Download the latest patch :)

Yep, saw that and assumed it was only for folks who had already downloaded the main files some time ago  :-\
