STS-41C

No difficulty with the MMU, or with the positioning of most of the EV stuff... Except for dumping the Foot Restraint - which took an inordinately long time to find the 'sweet spot' that seemed to be buried in the wall? When EV separated from the restraint he was well behind the wrist joint anyway...

Initial positioning for the Grapple could have been better - I definitely made life harder for myself by not setting up a straight grapple alignment, but had it over the centre of the bay, and came at it with the wrist near the hard limits. Easy to see where I should have parked to make that a whole lot easier to reach though.

trick on STS-41C (and all the rest) is to yaw the shuttle as needed once the target is over the PLB, just put the grapple point forward and a bit to the port and it becomes a snap :)

Sounds like you've got "too much time on your hands"  ;D

Ps. Ever heard that song from Styx back from the 70's ?

My previous post deleted completely instead of just edited so I'll just repost the result : STS-125 completed in real time.
Look, there's a telescope out there !

Deano

STS-121 completed, albeit with the strange landing problem whereby I couldn't follow the Diamond!
All missions completed!

Yeah, I don't like editing other people's posts unless it is absolutely inevitable and necessary, so it is good you reposted :)

We talked about that via PM so no problem at all : I guessed it would be something like that, and reposted the only info needed as we agreed :)
