STS-99 completed.
Not fun, for my taste, too much easy and without RMS operations. The shortest mission since today.
Well, the whole point with this mission is the historical significance - mapping 80% of the Earth topography. Also it is interesting to see the "tool" used for this feat: the 3D radar. Regard this as an "educational" mission and less as an "action" mission.
From the Astronaut involvement point of view, you are right: not too much to do here beyond enjoying the view, appreciatig the cool 3D radar and seein it unfold, and knowing that you did a great service to science
