Just go with whatever you feel is best for your movie.
After all: it's your creation!
Rocket-Man: use a capture program like Fraps to get the video to your hard disk.
If you need more info on doing that, you can find plenty of tutorials with Google.
After you saved the video to your HD, you can create a nice looking movie out of it using a dedicated program.
The cheapest program comes standard with windows, and is called Windows Movie Maker.
You shouldn't encounter any problems while using it.
When you're done, upload it to YouTube or a similar site for all to see
