Does anyone use iWear vr920 with or without SSM2007? Does it work good or should I save my money?

Do a search for Vuzix and you'll find my post about the subject.

My recommendation is a warm "GO". I use it with SSM2007 and FSX with great results. Actually SSM2007 support is full and native. FSX is so-so but still great. If you use these goggles with SM2007, especially during EVA, you'll never want to go back to 2D

We may have to wait a couple of years, but if you have noticed, 3d finally appears to making a breakthrough. See Avatar, being the first full featured 3d movie, which is neither only Imax, nor some s****d cartoon. It is my understanding that the number of movie theaters capable to present 3d movies are over 3000 in USA. One of the major TV manufacturer announced (maybe Sony, I am not sure) the release of the first commercially available 3d TV for the end of 2010. Now that the LCD (flat screens) becoming faster, nVidia released a stereoglass which works with a couple of specific brand of LCD monitors.

The bottom line: finally 3d will become popular. Once it does, surely HMDs will follow. The technology exists, the military, NASA, etc. have them, but the cost is still astronomical. Mass manufacturing will bring down the cost. Imagine a 90 degree or more horizontal view angle HMD with 1280x1024 resolution

I like the fact that we are getting closer to a Holodeck, but James Cameron should be slapped...Avatar was...err...well less than his best.

But the look of the film and the technology was first rate!

I got to try the VR920 at the local Best Buy...guess what program they were using to demo them...

SSM07!!!!!!

Apparently it is the only program that wont make like Sir Crash-A-Lot!!! Those headsets are AMAZING!!!! I am saving my bucks for a pair! When they say you see a 50-60" screen, they arent kidding!! I SWEAR it was in full up 3D!

Now all we need are virtual gloves, and THC (Think I solved that one too!) and we are in SSM avarice!!!!

I am also thinking about buying a vr920. But I usually need to wear glasses with a slight optical correction and therefore I have some questions which are (obviously) important in my case: Can people who need to wear glasses in daily life also use the vr920? It looks like it would be impractical to wear glasses and use the vr920 at the same time (Is it?). So, is there any feature that allows to adjust the focus for the needed optical correction, so the picture one sees would not be blured?
Does any user have some experience in this regard?

I wear glasses and there is no issue. I wear the 3D goggles over the regular prescription glasses.
