Do the creators still follow these threads?
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:02:41 AM »
I ask, because as has been previously stated, all work is on ssms2, that no more work would be done on ssms 2007.  I would like to ask for permission/for a public release of the source code and or some of it.  In return, myself and I'm sure others on this forum will release over time the remainder of the shuttle program missions, new texture packs, and one new area.  (white sands for sts-3)

In return these missions, packs, etc would be given to said owners of the source code to host on this site or others, and continue to profit off the sale of ssms 2007.  Again, myself and other coders would be glad to sign any legal paperwork that precludes us from personal profit and holds harmless the source code owners from any harm done by 3rd party add ons.

Please PM me if anyone is able/willing, and I can provide you a private resume of my game development skills, and games/company's worked for.

Thank you for your time.

I think it won't happen. And as we can see, they're not following these threads or are not replying at all.

No more false hopes. This is over. But you can beat me in case I should be wrong ;)

Bet or Beat?
I know how to take some frustration out lol.
Yeah no PM's, e-mails, etc.
If I was retired I'd grab some guys/girls I know and try to kick start a
replacement to this using a Diff engine, one that would let the community
add mods, just no time in real life right now, maybe once the kid gets into
college soon daddy will have a few hours.
Thanks all for looking!

For sure, any kind of problems development team may have had, this is definitely the worse way to let a product like SSMS die.

A pity.

And at this point, we must be ready to see forums suddenly closed.

That other program which is open source is one heck of an alternative.  SSMS2007 is great for what it is, but I've given up.  And it's a shame.  Nobody could argue that we as the fans were ready, willing, and able to purchase SSMS2 when it came out.

Sorry guys.  You did it to yourselves.

I fear this as well. I wouldn't be surprised if one day this web page would not be available anymore.

SSMS is definitely dead and develop team is not here anymore. Everything's finished.

A real pity.

...How long will us have to wait for such another good shuttle simulator...I think it will never happen again.
