Actually Neil prefers to live secluded. He deosn't really like to be in the media all the time. The difference between him and the other Apollo astronauts is, that he was the first men who ever did a step on another heavenly body. For him it was an enormous pressure. This short moment totally changed his whole life forever.
Today he is rather tired to give interviews, autographs and so on (but sometimes he still does). He even didn't talk in "
In the Shadow of the Moon", which is a great documentary about Apollo by the way.
