REMINDER:
Today, at 18:00UTC, we kick off the
Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test in preparation for the STS-127 real launch.
In order to prepare, we shall need each participant to go into STS-96 and PAUSE the sim exactly at T:-00:30:00 as suggested by Astronaut Pocci.
Countdown will resume at 19:00UTC (unless the members agree to an earlier launch) and one designated Flight Director will call:
"Resume countdown on my mark: THREE, TWO, ONE, MARK" at which moment, all the participants will unpause the sim and start the real-time event.
The target is to perform the Ascent Phase at least until MECO, or beyond, as each of the participants sees fit.
In order to connect to the SSM2007 TeamSpeak server:
1. Download TeamSpeak client here: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads
2. Install the Client
3. Go to the SSM2007 Wiki at http://wiki.ssm-fans.info/ locate the TeamSpeak server status window under the left-hand menus.
4. Click the small "connect" button.
5. Allow Windows to run the TS client.
6. When you are connected to TS, select the Rehearsal Countdown channel and move to it by selecting the menu "Channels/Switch to Channel"Looking forward to a successful TCDT!
