After an eternity we FINALLY released the first BETA for internal testing.
Well, it was actually released a couple of weeks ago, and first bugs has been fixed and more will probably come in as time goes by. ???
But now major glitches do far.

Before we start adding more missions the first priority is to add input configuration possibility. Something that has been the real drawback since day one for this sim.

We keep ya posted!

And a little teaser of the main screen:https://www.space-shuttle-mission.com/Ssms2shots/Betasplash.jpg

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeers!!

someone said that the VAs could be found in one of the pdfs, so its probably there too. Also search up SSM2007 OST and im sure you will find all the songs and their composers for the game.

Man, I was 23 when I first played this game and it still holds a place in my heart. I'm 40 now and I can NOT wait to play an updated version. Thanks for the updates so I know it's still alive!

Thank you for the update, I will be patiently waiting to hear how fixing the sounds and improving the beta release is going. I cannot wait until the next version of MSFS is ready for release.

Just a little life sign from the devs here.

I'm happy to report that things didn't turn out well lately, for once. Last weekend was set to upload the first beta, but first we checked the new installer, key system and stuff on as many computers we could lay our hands on. And the result was.............duh.

Well, almost everything worked as it should, but the communications sounded like a stuttering moron on valium. ( Were NOT stating that you are a moron just because you stutter btw! )

As true Windows lovers ( :P) we used the WM_TIMER function to time the sounds, and it turned out to be a big mistake! It turned out to be such a low priority function that time could differ in several seconds if computer load was heavy.
Don't know what's the point using a timer function with a millisecond resolution if it differs in several seconds from time to time.

So, it was back to the drawing board and start all over with the comms using our own timer. With a much better result.
And that is what's happening at the moment.

So beta release postponed for now, but should be finished within next month.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeras!!!! ;D

Stupendously thrilled about this, especially as I am about 200 pages (and half a notebook's worth of notes) deep into the Shuttle Crew Operations Manual. Can't wait to put my absolute lack of skills and/or basic cognitive abilities to the test.

Serious shuttle morons unite!

Thank you!

Expect more like this. I am obsessed with this sim and doubly so with describing my mishaps in it.
