Ok, I've read the specs requirements but have one question.
How will it operate under Windows Vista?
[Admin corrected topic name for clarity]
Hi,
SSM2007 installs and runs on Windows Vista. It performs on a par with Win XP - just as expected from this type of software.

Excellent.
why on earth (or indeed anywhere :D ) use vista? :-\

Each one is free to decide what OS to use on his/her PC, so Vista is legal tender, just as WinXP, Linux etc. :)
We have been testing SSM2007 also with Vista and we like what we see.

Unfortunately, the new Computer that I've been given, has Vista pre-installed.
Specs:
Intel Core 2Duo Processor E6300 (1.86Ghz, 2MB L2 Cache,1066 MHz FSB, EM64T)
1GB PC2-4200/DDR2-533 RAM
250GB 7200 rpm SATA-3G HD
SuperMulti SATA Drive with Lightscribe Technology,Double Layer (8.5GB) DVD/CDROM
Integraded Intel High Definition Audio,7.1 Surround Sound.
NVidia GForce 7500LE - 256MB Graphics Card
I'm happy with that :)
MS recommends 2GB RAM for Vista, otherwise you will be trashing your HD.

:)
Read the FAQ, the news and the bottom part of the "Purchase" section (in BIG fonts) - it's been all over since we've launched the website on Sept 16th.
Best,

Got mine working fine.
If you only hav 1GB of RAM in Vista what will happen?
Hi, ddalton07!!
If you run a computer with Vista if you have 1 GB of RAM, the computer will run very slowly, and if you want to have a computer that runs Vista very well you need to have at least 2 GB of RAM!
Odd, me laptop only has 1gb!
I'd like to go further into the question... will it work using 64-bit Vista? I'm in the middle of building a desktop and want to overcome the 3GB limit imposed by the 32-bit OS.
