Title: Need more RAM
Post by: Art on January 08, 2008, 03:33:47 AM
I need more ram for my computer and I am confused, will a DDR 2 RAM module work? My current RAM module is a DDR SDRAM, will a DDR2 work if I remove my current RAM module?

If you have DDR RAM, you can't use DDR2.  They have different number of pins and DDR RAM have two "notches" while DDR2 have "one".  You will need to upgrade your motherboard or hunt down some DDR RAM!!

Go to www.crucial.com to get memory, you can look up by your system, or have the site autoscan your system and make a recommendation.
