Everything good always happens when I already have both. Discount on SSM for L2 members and discount on L2 for SSM members When I already have both :D
But I must say that L2 is really great for people that love NASA. I'm even considering doing the lifetime deal :)
Well, we already have this announcement on the "News & Announcements" forum section :)
The idea behind this is that even if you've missed on the SSM2007 deal on NSF, you still get the discount to the other :) so either way, you gain. You're out of luck only if you already own both SSM2007 and an L2 subscription. In that case you can move on to a longer-term subscription and enjoy L2 for longer for less $.
Enjoy!

Yup and both are absolutely great deals :)
Does this deal count as this?

I am just wondering :)
No :) We have another surprise for all of you for Christmas... Announcement will follow.

OH cool But just to be clear, you guys go so far to make us happier and I would have been fine with just this specific gift.
Thanks so much guys.
Quick question about L2, before I get the annual subsription :) Does it contain information on other space programs and agencies (Jaxa, RSA, ESA?), especially information on the Buran Shuttle?

Oh yes :) It's mainly US vehicles (Shuttle, Constellation, but.....)
On Buran, we've got four exclusive videos (in Russian, found in some dusty locker, converted from VHS and uploaded, about a gigabytes worth)...really are wonderful videos.
Buran Movie: The Transportation of Buran
Buran Movie: The Unmanned Flight
Buran Movie: BTS002 Test Flights (OK-GLI).
Buran Movie: Antonov An-225 Mria and Buran
And other items like images.
We've got Soyuz manuals, emergency proceedures, Progress Cargo Manifests etc.
Fair bit of ESA material. A good example being about 15 documents on the IVX development (to be launched on Vega).
Lots of ATV content, such as the FRR presentations for the debut trip to the ISS, construction images etc.
JAXA example, we've got the HTV overview document (about 600 pages or something crazy, will have to look at that again).
Sea Launch - we've got about 200 exclusive images of the failure they had a while back.
And we've got user guides, manuals, and payload planner documents for something like 50 vehicles (we think it's almost all of them, includes all the Chinese launchers).
You literally have to go through the sections and it can take a long, long time, but if you start at the submenu 'tag cloud' you can go through L2 by subject, such as "Buran" which will take you to a menu of all the Buran content. And if you get stuck, contact me and I'll link you up to where you need to be.
Remember to pay 89.99 - not 99.99 - if you go for the one year term, as per SSM2007 association :)
Thanks for the info Chris, I'll be signing up in the new year, as my wage went on Christmas :)

Know the feeling ;) I'll keep the offer open past the month long promotion (which ends on Jan 1), so the 10 percent discount will still apply.
I might get it before then, December 25th/26th ;)
