Title: Download file size...
Post by: ozinoz on December 13, 2007, 10:02:33 PM
Hi guys...
I only came across SSm by accident. I have been a train sim fan for a very long time and it was only when we jumped across to a sister site - flightsim.com, that there was a mention fo the release of this fantastic looking simulation.

The question really is, just how big is this download file likely to be? The issue is, that we have only a very slow 28.8 dial up connection at home (thanks solely to the local telco) so it is going to mean trying to organise to download at the office or else where, seeing as there is not going to be a "hard copy" made available for sale, which might prove difficult...

We are looking forward to the release on Tuesday week..

Cheers from Down Under...

I'm afraid 28.8kbps will be too slow to download the game.
After all, it's a rather complex and detailed piece of software.
Compared to other recent games, it's still small in size,
but expect it to be a larger than (or at least) 100Mb.
I suggest you download it at office or somewhere else where they have a broadband connection.
