Title: Video Contest - Question
Post by: Michael_B767_ATP on March 29, 2008, 11:02:57 AM
Hi,

I'm not sure if this belongs here, I didn't know where else to ask. What program(s) are used to make/capture in game video?.

Also, is there a separate program that allows you to add audio once the video is captured?.

Thanks

I used fraps and windows movie maker. Fraps will capture game audio aswell as vid. One lesson I learnt was not to make the thing in one hit. WMM wouldn't save my finished movie as it chewed up too much page file memory trying to do it.

Luckily a chop at the midway point did the trick. Saved it as two seperate movies then joined em together.

The onley free one I know of is Fraps. And then u can use windows movie maker for the rest. Warning the movie cant be longer than 5 mins with windows movie maker or u will have to make two parts like my 2nd video. ;D
