Title: HUD Failure
Post by: asterix on March 01, 2008, 01:57:50 AM
While practicing the landing for STS 121, I switched off the pilots HUD at about 11000 ft to simulate a HUD failure  :-\ and made my best ever landing.  ;D

Has anyone else tried this?

Well, what to say...visual cues are always good and... VFR is much more fun than IFR  ;)
