Real NASA Space Shuttle Missions / Re: Space X is Go
« Last post by SpaceJac37 on March 16, 2021, 08:37:09 PM »
SpaceX's most notable accomplishments include a liquid-propellant launch vehicle (Falcon 1) that delivered a payload into low-earth orbit, Dragon spacecraft that was successfully launched into orbit and returned to Earth, the first private spacecraft docked to the ISS, the first in history landing of the first stage on the ground, performed after the launch of the payload into low-Earth orbit.
I think SpaceX is one of the most advanced private space companies of our time. I suppose all further achievements in space engineering and even other spheres will belong to this company. Am I right? I follow the space and SpaceX news, and the more I monitor the company and its achievements, the more convinced I am that SpaceX is our future.

Real NASA Space Shuttle Missions / Re: New debris found

We've polluted our planet, started exploring space, polluted it also, and now continue doing it. I understand that our main mission is space exploration, and we must direct our main efforts to achieve this aim, but we also shouldn't forget about the danger that space debris poses to objects in orbit: ISS, satellites, etc. SpaceX is working on reusable rockets and do the right thing.

Real NASA Space Shuttle Missions / Re: Going to the moon
« Last post by SpaceJac37 on March 16, 2021, 07:40:28 PM »
I don't know why everyone doubts if we could reach Moon once again. That is quite possible in today's rapidly developing world. Look what we have already achieved - we almost recreate the Iron Man universe. Every space company founders aim to develop the company to become the first one to back to Moon or reach Mars or any other planets from Solar System. For example, Elon Musk ensures to cooperate with NASA and spread Starlink all over the world to make SpaceX a recognizable company. In the UK, Skyrora company which represents a new breed of private rocket companies developing the next generation of launch vehicles for the burgeoning small satellite market has international staff members who can use other countries' space achievements and knowledge thus supporting Skyrora activities. Most of the company team has over 10 years’ experience in the aerospace sector. Of the remarkable person in Skyrora is Laura Edison. My point is that the leading companies today, need to cooperate with each other in order to back to Moon and make the first steps on other planets.

Well, I finally found someone who shares my pov :). I also don't understand people who, by all means, try to prove that we'll never achieve Moon. Moreover, state that the Apollo 11 mission is fake and even deny the existence of space just blow my mind. I don't understand what makes them be so negative towards technical progress. The number of new space agencies that appear every year makes us closer and closer to sending a crewed mission to Moon again. Btw, I have high hopes for the company you've mentioned because the technologies they use are truly innovative.

Hmmmm......happens to be the resolution i have right now on this hardware.
Standard 15.6 laptop format. It works flawlessly here anyway. And no other user seems to have this issue.

I hope you find the issue at your end ::)

Sorry, VR is a no go....for now anyway.

Narrow screen problem seems strange. Make sure you installed the patch in the correct folder. Also, can you tell what resolution you are using.

I installed the version 5.31 patch, but it changed from wide screen to narrow screen. Can any one tell me how to take it back to wide screen? Also, can you use VR with it?

Thanks

Space Shuttle Mission Simulator (tm) / Re: Updates??
« Last post by Admin on March 12, 2021, 03:40:30 PM »
Hi there!

I hope you had the main program already installed. It can be downloaded at the PURCHASE page. Also, check that the patch installer points to the correct install directory, in case its not the default directory.

If nothing of this helps, let us know what error message you get during installation.

Regards!

Hey guys,
I've been playing this sim for about a month or two now and have been lurking around here for that time too, but finally decided to join up. I've been flying the missions pretty successfully in order and I'm on STS-100 now. I downloaded those checklists and, save for the first couple, been playing on the higher difficulty except EVAs (I struggle finding the right spots). It's been a fantastic sim so far with the issues I've had been my fault and fixed by a search here (except the disappearing pallet issue I'm currently having on STS-100, but I'm gonna start over and see if it happens again). Anyway, glad to be here and I'm excited to see the growth of the sim!
