Post by: Steven on October 12, 2008, 12:42:04 AM
Just curious about any news with this upcoming patch, as it's been over two weeks since it was announced.

Thanks!

I'm sure that the team is still busy with it.

Delivering Destiny certainly was a challenging task. Don't think it's too easy to implement this in SSM07 and test it quickly ;)

I think it's safe to say that it will take me a LONG time to reach STS-98. I still haven't completed STS-1 yet!

don't worry, since april we have seen a new mission every month. once you are done with all the missions, you'll be addicted enoght to the point you can't wait for the next one :)

Some of us Uri have other games we want to play though Uri. Actually I've neglected SSM since I got a hold of Silent Hunter 4. Will have to get back on orbit soon.

I'll be spending less time with GT Legends now that I have SSM2007 and Stalker : Clear Sky installed.

What we're trying to do with SSM2007 is hit you all with new and challenging missions that will put even the most experienced users to test and thus maintaining your interest in the game (sorrry, "sim") a long time after the purchase. STS-98 is one of those missions.

After finishing all the missions on the "low" settings, don;t forget that the real hard core gamers restart all of them in "high" difficulty - only using printed checklists (Michael Swannick has been providing an excellent set for some time) , just as real astronauts do.

After you finished them all on "high", you can really say that you are a pro on SSM2007. Meanwhile we add new missions so you'll have your hands full for some time, LOL!
