Post by: PresEVAIR on January 08, 2008, 03:56:56 AM: Ok maybe I'm missing something here. I downloaded Patch 1.16 and re flew the whole STS-1 mission. Landed all good told me I could leave the game, I did and no patch on screen. The only way I see to leave the mission is the quit mission icon. Am I leaving the mission wrong? Would have been nice if when after you landed the game went to the awards page and you quit from their. Any help would be nice on this.

Let me say this I think this is an outstanding program and kiddo's to you all for a spectacular :) game. I'm sure you'll get all the bugs out.

Turns out, after watching a thirteen minute video of the actual mission, narrated by the actual astronauts, that they DID land on a dirt runway. My apologies to those concerned when I insisted on a paved runway.

The patch looks nice too! ;D

After several re-entry problems, (burned up), landed from the first time.
Followed indications on CRT1 (vertical sit.) the HAC and the diamond.
Landed from virtual cockpit, so I could monitor the HUD and the 2 CRT's.
It was spot on.
Now, UP UP and away to STS-8 ;D
