I doing a video, host with Google, but i have a problem: the quality is very very poor... Probably cause my original video is too hight quality (500Mb for 2min...).
Watch my video: http://video.google.fr/videoplay?docid=-6582842012487436301
It is a test, not a final video.  ;)

To be honest, I'm surprised Exciting Simulations themselves haven't done any for youTube. We all know how popular youTube is and what a great way to to reach the masses!

Yes it is a pretty good one. Now all you need to do is get it to be better quality.

Actually, the SSM07 video is on YouTube :) In multiple places as well.

Good video BTW. Music was great. That scene at night over the "Cape" was beautiful as it lifted off.

So Valk,

How can Nono make a better quality vid (sharpness, etc.) It seems that the transcoding at Google is messing the quality...

I should find an easy video converter, cause Fraps save video with too hight quality. When i send it to the host, google compressed my video.

I can suggest that you try the simple Windows Movie Maker that comes with Windows. Try using one of the medium WMV settings, but I am sure this can be done even better - I am not a video specialist.

Admin is right, Windows Movie Maker does a good job of compression, and you can select what you specifically want as far as size. I would keep it below 70MB if at all possible when rendering. It will take a while though, so patience is a virtue here.

Another trick that some people do is "sharpen" the image using WMM or Vegas, or whatever they use to edit the film using the built in effects. They use the sharpen effect/filter. I personally don't do this, but I know a lot who do.

Also, make sure when filming to remove any window messages. They sometimes detract from the video presentation. Keep it clean :)
