Well, there are more often than not more than one perspective to just about anything you want to consider. This certainly applies to the quicksave feature.
Won't repost what I wrote in my "hello" post, but I will say without further qualification that my intention is to use the quicksave/save features of this program when playing the game on medium difficulty as often as I like, as many times as I like, for training purposes. Will be treating the game as a simulator at the medium difficulty setting.
However, when I jump the setting up to hard, the only reason I will use the quicksave or save feature will be so that I can resume the mission I am currently conducting at a later time due to realworld responsibilities, etc. But that's it, no other saves for me when I conduct a mission "for real" on the hard difficulty setting. To me, this will add an entirely new level of consequences for my actions in the game. In short, everything will really be on the line as much as possible. Landing short is landing short, for the real shuttle astronauts there is no such thing as a "do-over".
But that is simply going to be MY way, not necessarily the RIGHT way. The right way to conduct a mission with SSM 2007, is however it gives you the most enjoyment/fun. So, to each their own and I wish you all a great time with this unique and wonderful software program. Just thought I'd share my thoughts with you all, they cost the same 2 cents as everyone elses, lol.
Best Regards to All,
