Video (movie) software
« on: January 18, 2008, 11:43:50 PM »
OK I guess this is just a poll of sorts. I'm considering installing some video software to shoot small clips of my missions. I'm just wondering what you guys use and why you use it. Let me know please.  ;D

Does WMM capture right from the screen or do you need a camera?

Hello!  :)

I used Sony Vegas 7.0e, with FRAPS.

Kosmonaut, they say you need a camera just because they assume that's the only source of videos.
What you should do is get the video by capturing it with a piece of software like FRAPS (as mentioned above).
Then, you can edit the video with a program like WMM.

No problem :)
BTW, I use Adobe Premiere to edit.
Not cheap, but you can sometimes get a good deal, for example as a student.
But for most editing purposes, WMM will do just fine!
