I have to say that this thread is a pretty cool idea.  And as someone who only recently registered here I have found this place to be one of the best forums on the internet, full of great help and resources.

So far in SSM 2007 I have completed:
STS-1
STS-8
STS-41C
STS-51A
STS-26
STS-27
STS-32
STS-31
STS-47
STS-88
STS-96
STS-93
STS-103
STS-99
STS-98

As you can see, I am doing them in choronlogical order.  It took some time learning that RMS and rendevous, but a lot of fun doing it.

I am currently in the midst of STS-100, and I am having a lot of fun building the ISS.  I do hope more ISS missions, especially STS-133, are included when v2 of SSM arrives.

Just finished up STS-121.  Had quite a hard time moving that OBSS around.  The thing is just so darn long.

I don't see my name listed under STS-103 which I have completed.  Please add me to that also.

Thanks,

Tim

Finished STS-98.  That is certainly a tricky mission as far as the RMS ops are concerned.  Not much clearence between RMS and the station.

It can be a bit easier if you inhibit the "REACH LIM" detection ;)

I thought about turning off the soft stop, but did not.  In the end I hit a reach limit only two or three times and it was not that troublesome.  What was more troublesome was trying to avoid hitting the station with the upper or lower arm while moving the PMA in the various positions.  It would have been much easier if the elbow joint could yaw and pitch like the shoulder.  I wonder how much different the arm design would be if NASA were to redesigned it today?

Well first it would be Canada to redesign it. Second the modernized version of the arm is the SSRMS on Station.
