PS4 Controller assignments
« on: March 24, 2020, 01:57:51 AM »
So, I just tried using a PS4 controller as a joystick in the game.  (Currently without my regular joystick, trying this as a workaround in the meantime...)

Left analog stick handles pitch and roll, as I would expect.  But, I'm not too keen on using the right analog stick up/down for yaw/rudder.  Ideally, I'd like L2/R2 (which, if it behaves on PC like it does on the PS4, should be analog), but I could get used to right/left on the right analog stick.

Is there any way to reassign the yaw/rudder axis, or is it locked to what I have?

StoneCOld,

There may be a way, but you will have to use whatever software you have that controls/programs the PS4 controller on your computer.  Your not going to be able to do it within SSM2007.

It will probably take a bit of trial and error with the different assignments in the software
