Beautiful. That's all I can say to describe what this is. Can't wait for the release, however far away it is!  :)

Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but will the 3D cockpit be interactive?

Or will we still have to go to the 2D view to slip switches, etc.?

Anyways. it looks great. Can't wait to take it for a few spins around the planet.

All buttons on the 3D cockpit will be interactive ! 2D panels will still be present in case of you want them.

Great screenshots!

And even my kitchen timer is there!! :)
Will it work ingame?
If not I can still use my own ;)

/Armin

I use mine every single day for almost four years now. It wakes me up in the morning; it reminds me when 45 minutes are over (I am learning the complete theory for airline pilots at the moment, including multiple choice testing) and I use it for cooking and sports. The batteries that came with it are still not depleted. It even drowned once in the dishwater - I just opened it, let it dry overnight and it just worked perfectly again the next day.

No miracle NASA chose this timer. It's very reliable.

Any news cthulhus?

No :) Still have the shaddow bug, can't make a video with that, waiting for next build and hope that will be fixed.

I really hope that the launch into orbit is now seamless as far as Earth graphics are concerned. One of the big annoyances of SSM2007 for me was the way that the high resolution Florida suddenly transformed into a low resolution version at a certain altitude. That seriously destroys the sense of realism, and also messes up videos of the launch from an external perspective. This also needs to be the case when returning to Earth.
