Sad to read about your loss. Thank you for the update and patience with some of the over zealous posts from those who really really want to simulate trips into space and the ISS in great detail. SSM2007 still gets used a lot for me. It was made so well that people who have it crave for more! That, and the next phase, will be a long lasting testament to the goals achieved, hard work, sacrificed time and the end result being a sim that has a special place in quite a few lives.

Peace

On behalf of BenchmarkSims, I wish to extend sincere condolences to his family and a message of support to all his relatives to the hardship they go through.

I'd be at the rendezvous when the next version will be ready and I will dedicate my 1st flight on the future SSM2 to the memory of Sir Alexander Lorinczi.

Condolences to his wife, his two children and his team mates.

I've Been Away from the forum in the last few months, and I've somehow completly missed the news about Alex's passing.

Alex has been the Driving force behind SSM, his illness has broght the development of SSMS2 to a very slow pace in the last three years.

I trully hope that SSMS2 will be released in his honor.

Alex You will be missed.

Very sad to know Alex has passed away, terrible news.

I send my condolences to  his family, relatives and close friends.

I'll never forget Alex every minute I'll fly again Shuttle mission with SSMS2007 and with the incoming SSMS2.

Very sad to hear about Alex.   Very sad.   His work will live on and continue to be enjoyed, know that SSMS has brought many people many many hours of joy, and through this program the memory and legacy of the Shuttle can be passed on to the next generation.

STS-120

With the new year starting I thought I would have a look again here. I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Alex. My feelings are between grief and relief, grief that we lost a driving force, but a relief nonetheless that the project is still alive. I can only echo the hopes for the second version

Please accept my kindest condolences.
I do understand what it is to loose someone close and important to awful illness. It is even more difficult to comprehend when the shiniest people are taken away from this realm too soon.

I haven't been here in years - and am saddened by the news about ADMIN. Had to reactivate and pay my respects. Rest in peace, Alex.

Feels good to be back. Lots of memories. The sim still looks great after all this time. To the future . . . .
