LM no need to turn this into a suggestion section. We've already have one <g>. And which "SRB issue" are you talking about? If it's a bug, then this is not the place to raise it (again?) Don't you think that bug fixing is a given? I wouldn't tease about a "bug fix". I'm talking about a feature.

/Admin

SORRY! sheesh! :-[ :-\ >:(

I wasn't coming in here and saying "you better go in and fix that bug or so help me". I know you guys fix the bugs and I thank you for that but I didn't need to be yelled at. :P

JLM,

Your previous message was saying exactly what you say that you didn't say (did I just say "say" three, wait FOUR times in a row?). There you do ask for a bug fix (apparently) so I think that my feedback was to the point.

But I certainly didn't yell. Usually in written messages THIS IS CALLED "YELLING"  ::)

Anyway, this is not the subject for the thread and IMHO you could've contacted me over PM to clarify this non-issue. Let's stick to "teasing". Teasing and trying to discover the next feature is so much more fun. Until now, we've managed to surprise all of you although I remember that in one of the cases, some have come very close.

I can give you a hint: in this case too, some of you here have already named the upcoming feature. Now all you need to do is to figure out which is it <g>.

The only feature mentioned here which is mentioned more than once and asked for several times in the past and is not already known as something that comes definitely not in SSM2007 is Mon 2.

And I would love it  ;D
I am sure the real astronauts use the second monitor a lot.

So let it be written, so let it be done.
To kill the first born Pharaohs son, I'm Creeping Death!!!!

(Headbanging and general mayhem ensues as Kirk begins the solo!)

Sorry, couldn't resist! I was listening to it as I read that line!  :D

Rock on! Bang that head!

To keep with the thread...I'm going to guess that Mon2 will be functional soon!  ;)

Well if we get Mon 2 we need the laptops in the virtual cockpit to be able to completely use the RMS from the cockpit cause in real life they have those. The PMA gets in the way otherwise. ::)

It would be way easier if I had Track-IR  ;)

hehehee... Admin sure loves teasing. Now, for my input, AKA 'shooting in the dark'... please excuse me if something sounds like it's more of a suggestion (more like wishful thinking) than just a guess... ^_^;;

MON 2? It may help a bit with RMS ops... but not something I'd be excited about.
ISS interior? That'd be sweet... though I still have severe problems going down the flight deck-mid deck ladder while doing a SPACEHAB mission...
NASA chatter? That'd also be insanely sweet, but I think we can do better than just copy-pasting NASA chatter and actually do great comms ourselves (obviously using NASA chatter as reference)...
Following SRBs to water impact? That'd be cool, and IMHO the feature with the highest possibility to appear, since Ares 1-X was practically about that at the end, so I believe the framework for that's done. And it'd be funny if viewed during the "SRB-abrupt deceleration" bug that occurs after you view the Ares 1-X mission and then start a regular shuttle mission afterwards.
Shutdown procedures? Yes, please. I would love that. ...but then OPS 9 would have to be emulated... so I don't think it's likely. That and the convoy...

Admin said it was mentioned, so I guess hearing the APUs starting and puffing along, the actual sound suppression system blasting water into the trenches at T-15 (and the loud whistling sound associated with it starting at T-15, not at T-9~8), the APUs sound after wheelstop and a lot of other things I'd like will not come for now. T-T;;
