Why Dexterous Manipulator is not used in this mission to move the ammonia tanks instead of an astronaut it weighs 1800 pounds it was designed to move heavy objects. If they won't use it why Canada built it.

As far as I know it is having problems and is still going through testing.

So why it made it into orbit it seems that all the bugs should have been ironed out on the ground.

They always are checked a million times but you still will get problems on orbit sometimes. Otherwise what would the point of the OBSS/RPM scan be?

I understand that some problems couldn't be spotted on the ground but most problems can be solved on the ground such as software problems power system problems which dextre was grounded for according to NASA. And it been over a year sense it was put into orbit so they had plenty of time to solve these problems.  $200 Million dollars is a lot to be spent on a piece of equipment that the astronauts can not use that which it was designed for.
