Mission Control 3 view tracker

I used to have a link a long time ago to the shuttle tracker that they show on NASA-TV all the time with the 3 view screen of the shuttle, but have since been unable to find it anywhere. Is that site still available or one that shows the same view elsewhere?

Oh I have tried to find that even wrote to the guy who wrote the software and made that 3d graphics..he said that it is an internal used program that even if relised to the public would not work. and after the whole 9/11 stuff they don't release as much as they used to.

that is a shame...the website i found wasnt really anything more than the screengrab i guess from there, it didnt auto-refresh, so you had to continually refresh the picture but instead of seeing it on NASA-TV for a few moments at a time when they decide to show it, it was always there...oh well

i just wanted to see what the text on the screen read really, its too fuzzy on the computer screen to make it out. Thanks though

Maybe that'll help. Screenshot I took during STS-119's undocking, or them getting ready to. Nice and clear, too.

Question, over Russia what're those Yellow circled areas? I've seen them before but have no idea about what they are.

Those are tracking coverage by various stations over the Russian and former USSR territory.

Other areas are the comm coverage by the TDRS sats or other tracking coverages.

The SAA is the "South Atlantic Anomaly" zone. See more about it here:

If you follow the link below, it shows a 'higher than normal' amount of computer 'upsets' in the SAA region.
