STS-401 safely landed at KSC.  I'm out of missions!

Now what?!?

Replay all missions on Hard Mode
then try without checklist and in hard mode
then experiment and do EVA's and dock with the ISS's PMA 3 during STS-98.

Then you can wait for a new release with more features and or a new mission. ;)

...or you can wait for Virgin/Branson to get Space Tourism going.
(Spend the waiting time saving up money for the trip)

;D

you can up the difficulty,
you can re-fly your favorite missions.
you can do a mission without using external views at all.

I found a detailed mission checklist for STS-103, with rendezvous profile and RMS positions and carried it out as accurately as possible.

and of course you can fine tune skills and add content to the wiki :)

Or......................
You could try letting the game play out as you sleep, and not use timeskip, or select NEXT EVENT. :o

It seems a bit extreme, as I have yet to try it! ;D

Just take a break like I have since STS 98.  ;D  I have a whole host of missions to work on.  Hard mode of course.

Where did you find this checklist? Is it available online? If so, could you please provide a link?

can't seem to find it right now, I'll keep on looking.

I've sent a couple forum members the link - so if any of them has it on FAVs this is the time :)

There are a few FDF checklists on L2 - search for these file names:

  • One for rondezvous in STS-123: 216624main_RNDZ_123.pdf
  • PRDS ops for STS-117 and after: 193891main_PDRS_G_F_3.pdf
  • Orbital ops for STS-117 and after: ORB_OPS_G_L_3.pdf
  • Entry for STS-118 and after: ENT_G_H_3.pdf

Also, the Flight Procedures Handbooks offer very detailed descriptions of the sequence of events for ascent, entry and TAEM.  I find that many of the displays in SSM work as described in these RL documents even though you don't necessarily need them to succeed with the missions and they are never mentioned in the mission comms.  Learning and watching these has me replaying missions many times over, even STS-1 because it is simple so I can concentrate on the flight systems.

Now we've got a brand new mission STS-47 that just came out today... with  v2.45.

Have fun!

Alas, I have just completed it.  Even stayed in orbit an extra day or so.  So once again I'm out of missions.
