Hope it is okay to ask this question. How do you change rank (from just joined to mission specialist and so on)? I have looked al over for an answer.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but I believe it has to do with your post count. Thats the way it works on most forums.

That is it here. The more posts the more Stars.

1 Star ( Just Joined Training)
2 Stars (Trainee)
3 Stars (Astronaut)
4 Stars (Mission Specialist)
Max 5 Stars (Shuttle Pilot) :)

Correct. The status is just an indicator of somebody's experience/time on the forum, based on their post count.
This means that someone who "just joined training" can have more experience than a "shuttle pilot", although that's not very likely.

Wouldn't the time spent in the forum be a better indicator than the amount of messages one posts?  I guess that might not be feasible but some posts are "second that" or "I agree."

Nonethless it is a neat little system in here.   8)

Thanks everyone. Having a great time with SSM2007. Just finished STS-88. Quite a challange.
