Patch Readme?
« on: August 18, 2008, 06:24:39 PM »
I can't find any sign of a readme file which details the changes in SP2.  Am i missing something or is there no list of changes available at the moment?  If the latter, will such a list be made available?

Thanks,

When you start the patch program it appears on the screen after you accept the license agreement ;)

When a new patch is released why does it always list previous missions that were added from other SP?  Am I missing something in the read me file that shows that these missions were further enhanced than when originally released that are different from the original missions that were in the SIM when launched?

Just curious.

Thanks.

its a comuletive patch.

it has all the previous patches bundled into it.
so you don't need to patch it numerous times (like other games I know)

First, all the Service Packs are cumulative, so basically there is no need to list ALL the changes since the creation of the Universe. Nevertheless, we did list all the changes/fixes since release time with ALL previous Service Packs. Now, after we moved to a major version, we start from scratch with version 2.X and up.

The operational changes are reflected in the new manuals which we also update periodically. However there may be slight discrepancies between a new SP and the manuals. The new lighting system for example does not appear in the manuals yet, but it will in one of the future manual updates. It is noted however in the changelog.
