It's not a news that a mission editor is planned. But as far as I know there is no date yet...

Im sure some people are going to make some great missions. But I am commited to finishing all of the developer designed missions first before I tackle user made ones.

A mission creator would be great! And, it seeme it might have a side benefit - as things are now the devs spend a good amount of time, I imagine, creating new missions for us (which is greatly appreciated, of course), but if a mission creator were to become available a lot of us would start making them, possibly freeing up time for the devs to add features, work on SSM 2009, etc. ...

And I want a feature which allows you to create critical failures (non-fatal)

We said this many times - NOT any time soon, but it is planned, and as we proved in the past, we do stick to our promises.

Meanwhile, there are enough other features to be added before implementing a Mission Creator and/or aborts, etc.
