I would also like to see mission specific checklists. In reality they are called Flight Data Files or FDFs for short. Here's a link to the FDFs that NASA has released, and be sure to click the bottom link where it says +Documents from previous shuttle flights for the FDFs from all the post RTF missions(from STS-114 through STS-122):

Michael,

Great job on the checklists, and be assured that I am definitely interested in mission-specific checklists if you take the time to make them.  In fact, it seems to me that one for STS-1 could serve as a sort of walk-through for those new to SSM.

Please keep up the good work  :)

Hey count me in!!  Great work!  I would love to see these lists.  I am working STS 31 on hard.  When it came to the Payload Retention Latch release I could not remember what the frak to do!!  LOL!  So I had to reel it back to Medium to get the instructions.  I totally forgot about the Payload Safing on panel C3 so I couldn't get the Hubble unlatched until I went to Meduim.  I dug around but could not find a checklist handy.  I'm going to try to finish this mission on Hard.
Missions Completed:
1, 8, 41C, 26, 27, 31, 88, 96, 32, 51A, 47, 93, 103, 99, 98, 100, 121, 116, 117

Excellent!!  Really looking forward to them.

I sent you a PM regarding a tutorial / walk-through – looking forward to discussing that, too.

Michael,

Just made a post in your other checklist thread about developing this very thing.  Actually had a conversation with "Admin" about mission specific Comm # lists from a master list of all comm #'s so that we could manage to interpolate our own mission specific checklists if/when desired with a little help from the powers that be.   ;D

Anyway, I added a few corrections to your abbreviated checklists, red items are important, yellow items would be "nice to have" but take or leave my suggestions, I had no idea you were already thinking of working on this as I just discovered this thread.

Wasn't trying to "steal your thunder", lol.  I agree completely with you that there is a need for complete and accurate mission specific checklists.  It is only with them that playing the game on a setting of "hard" difficulty makes any sense when it comes to realism.  Procedures and operations on the space shuttle are not done by memory, I agree completely with you on the need for this project!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Best Regards,

"Greyhawke"   :)
