Features Pack 5.30 (40 Mb)
This time the new Features Pack
includes a whole new and realistic night landing guidance
lights and runway. As usual,the pack also includes minor
changes and fixes. Please note that this pack is for the
downloadable version of SSM. It is NOT compatible with the
CD version of the simulator. The CD version already
contains all the present features and mission which have
been released ever since the sim was launched.
Resolution change error fix (1.7 Mb)
Apply this patch if you get the dreaded Space Shuttle Mission Error: Resolution change failed message.
Commander's Reference Manual V40 (9 Mb)
It contains all the updates and changes
up to SSMS Version 5.20, including the new CCTV features
and docking maneuver info. You cannot play SSMS without
reading it! It does not replace the NASA own Shuttle Crew
Operations Manual (SCOM) which is a 1000+ pages document
and the ultimate reference in Shuttle operations. For a
complete SSMS experience however, we do recommend that you
eventually refer to the NASA SCOM which is available on
the Internet.
Quick Start Manual V3.0 (3.0 Mb)
The latest version of the Quick Start
Manual. It contains all the updates and changes up to SSMS
Version 5.10. Do NOT install SSMS before reading it first
and don't try difficult missions without going through the
simple first-steps guide and the STS-1 mission at least
once.n>
Compressed Checklists (21 Mb)
Mr.Swannick, one of the experienced SSMS Astronauts and Beta
Tester, has compiled a full set of SSMS mission-specific
checklists, printable in booklet format. Mr. Swannick has
also added the Shutdown the game). Printed checklists are
essential for successfully completing the missions in the
"HIGH" difficulty setting. Please note that these
checklists are not officialSSM Crew. So for any
errors/corrections/suggestions (if you find any), please
contact Mr, Swannick directly through the forum.
Saitek AV8R-01 profile (24kb)
This is the profile we use for the
Saitek AV8R with SSMS. You can of course change it and
adapt it to your own preferences.
